Swimming with Papa
Cason swimming in his boat.
Swimming with daddy.
Splashing in the water with Aunt Kort.
I'm so cool...this is the life.
Papa pulling Cason in the wagon...I have a feeling there will be a lot more of this.
Cason went swimming for the first time this past Sunday at my parents' house, and he did great. We took it really slow and just got his feet wet at first, then his legs, then his belly. He was expressionless...it was hilarious. He just kept looking around, not crying, not smiling...nothing. After about 15 minutes he started splashing and kicking and started really enjoying himself. We stayed in the water for about 30-45 minutes, and he loved every minute of it. I was pretty nervous about him liking the water, so, I was so relieved after he did so well. We went in, dried off and changed into dry clothes. Then, Cason went outside with Papa to ride in the wagon. Papa rigged it up great for him so it was safe and comfy, and he had so much fun. He just layed back and looked around at all the trees and the birds. I wish they had a wagon like that for adults...and someone that comes with it to pull me around. :-)
Cason had 2 good days at daycare this week. He had is first "great" on his little report card he gets everyday. Let me tell ya, I was one proud mama. When I dropped him off on Tuesday the teacher told me that she puts Cason in the jumperoo, which he loves, and then she reads to the four kids in his class. She said that Cason will just watch her the entire time she is reading. Isn't that so cute? As you can tell, daycare is going much better.
