Wow, I'm so sorry it's been so long. I picked up a couple of Saturdays last month at work, and it has really got me off on blog updating. Cason is 5 1/2 months now...can you believe it? Just this past Monday he rolled over for the first time from back to front. Suprise, suprise no one saw it. I was working and Chris had put Cason on his back under his activity center and stepped out of the room for a sec and when he came back Cason was on his belly. I knew it would be soon on Sunday though. Cason was on his back and he rolled to his right side, but couldn't quite get all the way over. It was hilarious...he would move his left leg like he was winding up to get momentum. It just went back and forth over and over again. I got down in the floor to cheer him on, but no luck. He waited until no one could see. I have seen him do it now. He does it all time. He is officially "our little roley poley." In more ways than one, huh? (see the naked pic above.) LOL He is also sitting up now. He can sit up by hisself for about 10 seconds then he tries to reach things around him and he starts leaning. It's improvement though. We've also noticed lately that when Cason is on his belly he is starting to draw his knees up like he wants to crawl. A couple of times today, he was actually up on all fours. It won't be long.
Chris and I recently had some much needed work done on our land and driveway. We were having trouble with our driveway washing out, and we still had 4 large piles that were cleared before we built our house that needed to be buried. So, we called a guy that Chris knew from college and he and another guy came out and fixed everything. It looks so much better. I will post pics asap. There was just too many on this post already.
We are loving the warm weather. Cason LOVES it outside. Last Saturday, he stayed the night with my parents while Chris and I went to dinner and a movie. It was really weird to wake up that morning because I needed to use the bathroom, not because Cason woke me up. I can't remember the last time I woke up because I needed to use the bathroom. Stupid I know, but it was a big moment for me. Anyway, dad said Cason woke up around 5:30am, and from then until they went to "men's breakfast" at 8:00am Cason went on 3 wagon rides. Isn't that hilarious? He's so spoiled.
