We are so blessed

Well, Cason is 12 days old now...I can't believe it. He is so much fun. He's starting to stay awake more and just look around. We are so blessed because he doesn't really cry. The only time he lets it rip is when we would sponge bathe him. He hated being naked and cold...who doesn't. I'm so happy though because his bell from the circumcission fell off Friday and his umbilical cord fell off in the middle of the night last night, so, we can give him his first big boy bath tonight. I hope he likes it better than the sponge bath. He loves for his hair and his private area to be washed though. It's hilarious. He will be screaming from the sponge bath and when Chris pours water over either area it stops in a heartbeat and just lays there. We crack up every time. He is sleeping good right now. He will pretty much sleep from feeding to feeding...approx 3-4 hours.

Chris went back to work today. I was a little nervous about being here all day by myself, but it has gone well so far. Right now Cason is sleeping so I did a little laundry, cleaned up and now I'm updating everyone. Chris came home for lunch though and got his fix.

Cason had pictures done on Friday by Tammy Odell. He was such a trooper. We took pics for 3 hours and he did so good. She had two heaters in there to make it nice and toasty, and man was it. Chris and I had sweat dripping off of our faces, but Cason was comfortable so it stayed nice and toasty the entire time. Tammy said the pics should be up in about one week and it will be the same set up as my maternity pics so I will let everyone know when they can view them. During our photo shoot, mister Cason pooped on his daddy twice. It was hilarious. He always seems to save those accidents for his daddy. Maybe they have some weird connection with that, I don't know. We just cleaned everything and everyone up and went on.
