First big boy bath

Well, Cason had his first big boy bath on 1-13-08 and he hated it. We did it in his bathroom the first time and it didn't go so well. Last night we took his bath into the kitchen and did it over the sink and it went a little better. The first pic with Chris is before the bath, second pic is during and third pic is after. Poor little guy was worn out by the end of everything. I hate it probably worse than he does.
We went to the doctor yesterday for Cason's two week follow-up and all is well. He did great again. The only time he cried was when Laura, PA used the tongue depressor to look in his mouth. He really didn't like that at all. Laura said Cason had "sucking ulcers" in his mouth from sucking so hard when he nurses. She said it was normal, some kids are just blessed (and mother's punished) with really strong suction. Dr.Ramadan also came in and checked on him and said everything was great. He weighed 7# 3oz. We don't go back for 6 weeks...2 month immunizations...yuck. I'm really dreading them. It's so different being on the other side. I've given lots of shots to children in the ER, but the thought of Cason getting one makes me want to puke.
Cason is doing pretty good through the night. We have really good nights, okay nights and not-so-good nights. We are going to try to start getting into somewhat of a routine pretty soon. All in all, we are so happy and thankful for Cason. He's been such a wonderful addition to our family.
Cason is taking his first road trip this weekend. We are going to Haworth to see Nana K and Papa K. I'm sure he will do fine. There are lots of people he needs to meet down there. I'm starting to get nervous about what to pack and how much to pack. I'm sure I will just take anything and everything like I always do. :) I will update after we get back to let everyone know how his first big trip went. Love you all.
