Getting ready to mow the lawn with daddy.

Ready...

Set...

Go!!!!!

Then pose.

Enjoying the water on his back.

He loves his daddy.

Less than fourteen weeks to go, and we have still done nothing. Although, we do have plans to paint the room and the furniture Sept 25-26. There isn't much to do other than that since we still have all of Cason's clothes and toys. We have decided on a name finally...Chandler Allen. We can't wait to see our precious, very active baby boy. Will he look like Cason? Will he be bigger or smaller? Will he sleep? So many questions. I haven't had many pregnancy problems, but I am finally getting over a cold that has hung around for 10 days. I'm limited on the medications I can take because of the pregnancy so I had a hard time fighting it. I've never coughed so much in my life. I'm pretty sure Chris is ready for it to be over too. He isn't getting much sleep either. I guess we should get used to it though, huh?
Our big boy is starting in a new classroom tomorrow. He will be there until he turns two. The room is bigger and they walk to the "diner" for lunch (equipped with diner booths and decorated like an old style diner), but other than that there's not much difference. We met his teachers last week, and a couple of days last week he went to his new class to help him adjust a little better. The first day he went, he came home with a souvenir...a bruise on his right cheek from being bitten by another child. I was afraid he may have been trying to wrestle with them without warning them but the teacher said he was just playing with a toy by himself when it happened. I'm saying prayers that it was a one-time thing...I would hate for him to pick up on that and start biting too. We've been so lucky to not have that problem so far.
As you can see by the last two pictures, my boys love to take showers together. Cason LOVES for Chris to hold him and let the water just hit his back. He will lay there still with his head on Chris for 10 minutes at a time. Cason is such a little busy body these days, Chris just loves the little bit of snuggle time he gets. As for me, I just love to snap pictures of my boys together.
Chris and I went with Kyle (Chris' younger brother) and Megan (Kyle's girlfriend) and Mandy (my co-worker/best friend and Megan's sister) and Jerod (Mandy's husband) to a Rangers' game this past Friday. Did you keep up with all that? LOL We had so much fun and had to keep reminding ourselves we were at a ballgame and not the home run derby. There was a whopping 9 home runs in the game! The game went in to extra innings, which was ended by a walk-off home run by Nelson Cruz. Unfortunately, Chris had gone to the bathroom in the middle of the 11th inning and was walking back to his seat when he heard everyone start cheering. He got back just in time to see the celebration. The home run ball was caught by a guy about 3 rows behind us!!! We had a lot of fun having some good quality adult time. Chris and I were talking earlier about how the biggest difference we noticed with not having Cason was going to restaurants. We didn't sit down and get the place mat out, find a sippy cup, find some snacks to appease him until the food arrives, look at the kids menu and pick out Cason's meal, then TRY to look at your menu to pick out your entree, only to be interrupted several times with picking up crayons, crackers, etc that he has thrown. Don't get me wrong, we missed him dearly and love doing all those things, but I would be struck by lightning if I said that I didn't enjoy the peaceful meals with adult conversation. It was much needed time away and we loved it!!!!
