Where's the baby?

Talking on the phone like a big boy.

Fish face. Sporting the new shirt Aunt Kortney got him...I love it!

Giving bubba kisses

I LOVE MY BABY BROTHER!!!

Where's the baby?

He's fascinated with my belly button.

Our summer is in full swing and we are geared up and ready for the rest of the ride. It seems like we have something planned every weekend for the next 2 months, especially with me working every other weekend. Cason is quite the trooper though and doesn't miss a beat.

We had a great July 4th this year. It rained so it kind of postponed some of the activities but it all worked out well. We spent the day at my parents then went to my grandparents for dinner and water balloon games (fights). :-) At dark, we all loaded up and went to Francis to watch fireworks. Of course, it was passed Cason's bedtime, but he hung in there. Wide-eyed, mouth gaping, he didn't move a muscle.

All is well with baby #2. We are 21 weeks along (5 months) and things are kicking right along. (pun intended) We had our anatomy ultrasound last week and everything looked good. The tech warned us to saddle up and get ready because this little boy is very active. What's so funny is that the night before the ultrasound, I told Chris that it seemed like he kicked all day, every day. Whereas, Cason kicked a lot in the first hour I was awake and the last hour before going to sleep. This one doesn't have a preference...just ALL the time. Man, oh man am I nervous!

I have definately been the poster woman for "pregnancy brain" lately. Actually, I think it's a combination of prenancy and mommy brain. I didn't notice much of it when I was pregnant with Cason, but was bombarded with memory loss after he arrived. I had noticed that I was forgetting things lately, but didn't know how bad it was until my co-workers began teasing me about repeating myself throughout the day. Hey, what can I say? At least I'm entertainment at work. LOL. I have decided that a lot of it has to do with the fact that I'm kind of (okay, REALLY) stressing out about all the things that need to be done before November: paint his room, paint the furniture, buy a crib, order bedding, organize the playroom and PICK A NAME!!!! I know we'll get it all done. I just get easily distracted by a certain 18 month old that likes to play catch or wrestle all the time!!! Could be a lot worse. ;-)

I am having a few heart attacks that it is actually on sale right now because I am scared that means it will sell out or that they aren't going to be making it anymore.
