New Tricks

We are thinking about joining the circus with all these new tricks he's doing. ;-) We were in the living room last night and Cason just started "crawling" I guess you could say. You can see for yourself that it is very unorthodox and looks like he is in battle crawling through tall grass trying not to be seen, but hey...it's forward movement.

In the second video we are attempting to get him distracted from his vibrating grape teether to show off his new tricks. He's actually been waving bye bye for about a month now and has been given high fives for about 2-3 weeks. Once again, they aren't mastered by any means, but I'm still one proud mama. Speaking of "mama"...he STILL WON'T SAY MAMA!!!! I can't wait for the day he starts saying that, and yes, I'm very well aware of the fact that someday I will probably wish he new a different word, but for now I'm ready to hear it. He says "dada" all the time and we have noticed over the last week or two that his tone and pitch are evening changing. It's like he is really telling someone something. Adorable!

Well, tomorrow is our last day at Monnie's Daycare and Monday is the first at the Chickasaw Nation Daycare. It's definitely bitter sweet. I'm excited for the future because he will have so many fun activities and field trips to participate in, but we, especially Cason, love his teachers at Monnie's. I'm sure he will be fine, after all, he never meets a stranger. Just keep he and I in your prayers this next week please.

Well, I think that's all for now folks!!! Hope you enjoyed the show.
