Sleeping on daddy in the man room
...a pearly white one. Cason has one bottom tooth that has definately popped through and one right next to it that is just behind it. Our precious little baby is just getting so big. He says "dada" ALL the time now, and his adorable little personality his shining through more and more each day. He's got such a sweet heart and is as laid back as his father.
We went to the doctor on Tuesday for his 8 month check-up and Cason didn't really know what to think. When I laid him down to be weighed he just cried and looked terrified. We are apparently entering the "separation anxiety" stage. He also hadn't felt good for the last few days, which I'm sure added to the anxiety level. Cason was diagnosed with bronchitis. :-( It was so sad, I didn't know he was that sick. He was given an antibiotic for and a cough med/antihistamine to dry him up. He's finished the antibiotic and is much better. Thank goodness for our "routine" appointment. Oh yeah, he weighed 17.10# and was 26" long. Linda, the nurse said, "well, Cason we are going to have to start stretching you. You are only in the 5th percentile." Hey, the odds were against him. And personally, I think he is absolutely perfect the way he is. I love my little munchkin.
Cason is starting to scoot around in a half army crawl half worm kind of way, and has mastered going from sitting up on the floor to laying down in a semi-safe nose dive. It is hilarious. You can see him get his eye on something and think about it a little, then dive to the floor.
I can't believe it's already the middle of September. Time flies by faster every year. We are looking for Cason a halloween costume and starting to think about his birthday. This part of the year is going to be so busy for us....busy, but fun!
