Cason's room

Wow, I can't believe it...we are 36.5 weeks along. Cason can come any day now. We are so anxious and excited to finally get to meet him. We had a very productive weekend. Chris worked very hard on the garage. It was getting so bad I could barely open the doors on my car. Chris has never parked in there, so it will be nice for him to finally be out of the weather. Anyways we also worked in Cason's room. Just a few final touches. Chris painted the letters I bought last weekend so we hung them today. We also finally got the curtains hung. His room is ready for him now.
This weekend we also cleaned the cradle and put the bedding in it. The cradle is one that was made by Chris' Papa Storey and Chris and his brothers slept in it when they were little. It looks amazing...it's hard to believe it's almost 30 years old. I can't wait to see Cason sleeping in it.
We are going to the doctor weekly now. Our next appt is on Wednesday. I was dilated to a one last week. I went to be monitored last Tuesday b/c I was having contractions at work. While they were giving me 2 liters of fluid through my IV they monitored my contractions and Cason's heartrate. He did great. My contractions started coming about every 3 min and last about 30 sec but after all the fluid was in, I was still just a one so they sent me home to rest. The nurses said some women just have contractions a lot before actually going in to labor...LUCKY ME. :) I am still having them daily, however, they aren't as regular and haven't gotten any stronger. So, we are just playing it day by day. Waiting to see if Cason will arrive before or after Christmas. I have a feeling it's going to be ON Christmas.
Oh, by the way, the first picture was taken at our ER Chrismas party. I was 35 weeks preggo and huge.

Holy cow!!! It's time. The room looks so great. I love the brown stripe. It looks so good. Are you still working? I can't wait to see pictures. If you think he'll be here on Christmas then I bet he will.
