Cason is too cool at the diner at his daycare. It's all set up at toddler height...booths, benches, etc. Chris said he scoots in to the corner and sits like this every time. LOL
Isn't it adorable?
Chris' birthday and our couple's baby shower. 36 weeks
Love my boys!!!
Wow, it's been a really long time, and I'm so sorry. We will be 38 weeks pregnant on Thursday, and boy am I ready. I've had my nesting period and Kellan's room is all ready...we just need Kellan. Last week I was dilated to a 2 and having pretty regular contractions, however, I really wanted Kellan to wait until after Halloween, so we could take Cason trick-or-treating. Well, now it's over, and I'm ready. I have moments where the contractions are very regular, about every 6 minutes to be exact, but aren't very painful, and then I have other moments when they are very sporadic but they are pretty painful. I'm just waiting for the moment when they are regular, closer together AND painful...then we will go to the hospital. It's so weird this time, because everywhere I go I find myself looking for the closest bathroom just in case my water breaks. I just assume it will since it did with Cason...guess we'll see.
The last couple of weeks Cason has been very clingy to me. I think he must have a sixth sense that something is about to change. My anxiety level is through the roof worrying about how he will react with the upcoming change in our family. I know deep down he will be fine and won't remember anything about when baby bubba was born, but mommy will. I'm also still having a hard time getting my mind around the fact that I could possibly love someone else as much as Cason, that I could possibly have enough for both of them. Don't get me wrong, I'm so excited to welcome another adorable little boy into our family, I'm just scared.
Cason is really starting to talk a lot. Granted, most of the time it's gibberish that only he understands, but it's the cutest gibberish I've ever heard. Just this morning he did something very well and I said, "Cason, you did it!" He responded, "I did it." I was so proud...his first sentence. He has also started "talking" with his eyes. I've caught a few eye rolls and bad looks lately. I don't know where he gets that from!?!? Definitely paying for my raising. ;-)
