Bubble bath baby

His big boy outfit he wore to church.
Cason has moved on up to 3-6 month clothes. I have removed all his newborn and 0-3 month clothes and replaced them with his 3-6 month things. It was actually kind of sad. I loved his newborn clothes and it really made me sad to think he will never be that small again. I'm so glad he's growing and filling out, but it still hit me a little hard. Don't get me wrong though, I have managed to replace the old stuff with really adorable new stuff. We were so lucky to get a ton of 3-6 month clothes in our showers. He's going to have a differen't outfit every day. :)
We had a fun week this week. Tuesday was Cason's first St.Patrick's Day, and he was sportin' his green. On Wednesday, we went up to my cousin, April's house in Moore with my good friend, Kasey and her daughter, Karlee. Another friend, Lindsay and her son, Chalin also met us there. We had so much fun. We hung out in the house for a while and let the kiddos play, then, we went to the park that is right next to April's house. We looked like a scene from a movie with all 4 of our strollers in a line walking to the playground. Cason hasn't spent much time outside due to my phobia of the wind and dirt getting in his ears and eyes. I have realized that "outside" is my biggest fear with him. It's kind of weird, I know, but I can't help it.....the wind blows so hard!!! He didn't really like it at first, but it was so bright and he was getting sleepy. Once we got to the playground and I held him, he went right to sleep. I watched April and Lindsay with their little boys, and was very envious. The boys were running around, swinging, and going down the slide. I can't wait until Cason can do that stuff. It will be so much fun. Karlee had fun too, but she isn't walking yet and she didn't really like swinging. It was just nice to do something different. Hopefully we will make a habit of getting together for play-dates.
Well, it is 5 weeks until the OKC Memorial Marathon (I'm only doing the 5K), and training hasn't been going so well. I'm such a procrastinator with everything...and this isn't any different. Friday night I ran 1.5 miles and walked 1.5 miles and I'm going to try to run 2 miles today. I actually felt pretty good after running. I always feel better afterward, it's just getting motivated before that's the problem. I guess it's a start, though. I'll keep you updated.
P.S. The bubble bath was from his baby body wash, not from the Palmolive dish soap in the background. Just F.Y.I. I didn't want anyone turning me in to DHS for using dish soap on my baby. LOL

Play dates are so fun! Keep up the training. You'll do it-no problem. I can't believe how chunky Cason is getting. Grant is still this tiny skinny little guy. I'm trying to get him in 6-9 months but he's just long and skinny and everything hangs on him except the sleeves--and they're too short.
