Poor little guy fell asleep sitting up...it's a Williamson thing. LOL
He really is a babe magnet. He was passed around at the basketball game so much tonight, it proves it. :)
What a big boy!?
Bath time is going much better.
Big smiles
Okay, it is definately time for an update. I'm sorry it's been a while. We have been so crazy busy it's not even funny, and Cason is getting so big. He is 7 weeks old now. We went back to Haworth this past weekend and had a wonderful visit. Chris was off on Monday so we were able to stay an extra day, which is nice. It's so exhausting traveling with a newborn. I always forget something and you have to plan really well to work around feedings...but, we made it and had a blast while we were down there.
Cason smiles all the time now. He has also started cooing. It has to be the cutest thing I've ever seen. It is so rewarding to have him look right at me and smile so big. I love every one of them. He has also started sleeping better regularly. He usually lies down around 11:00pm or midnight and sleeps until around 3:00am or 4:00am, eats and goes right back to bed. I'm looking forward to the times between feedings getting longer. He's such a little piglet right now. He never goes longer than 4-4.5 hours. LOL His little cheeks are getting so chubby and his legs have rolls in them now. It's adorable.
Cason is also holding his head up really well right now. He has held it up since he came home from the hospital. Granted, he looked like a bobble head for the first 3-4 weeks, but now he has good control. I attribute most of it to the fact that he loves to be on his belly. He has started doing a "trick" though and it's hilarious. When he is lying on his belly and he tries to lift his head as high as it can go he will lift one or both legs off the ground at the same time. Chris and I crack up. We tried to get a picture of it, but it's hard to tell. (3rd picture) We always got the picture at the end of the trick so his head and leg aren't that high. You get the idea though.
Well, I'm going back to work part time starting March 5. I'm doing Tuesdays 5-11 and Thursdays 3-11. I felt it would be easier to ease into the working thing and I'm ready to go back and have some adult interaction. I never thought I would miss work this much. I'm really going to miss Cason though. It's going to be hard. It will be good for Chris and Cason to have some man time without mommy around though, so I'm happy for that. Starting in April I will go back to the Mon, Tues, Thurs 11-11. Kort is going to watch Cason on Tues and Thurs, Mandy is going to watch him every other Mon when she's off and Chris my mom or me will take off the other Mondays to watch him. He has been accepted into a daycare just across the highway, but can't get in until May. It's been an answered prayer though. We have been on the list at 3 different places since the beginning of August last year and this was our top pick and it's the only one we've gotten in to. I know Cason will be in good hands. The owner is a great Christian lady. Anyways, I'm sorry this post is so long and sorry it has been so long since I've posted. Hope you all enjoy.
