More progress!!!

Yay, we have made more progress on the house. The brickers have completed the garage area and the east side of the house, and are half way up on the front and back. It's looking so good. We are SO excited. We have been hanging doors with my dad in the evenings. They are coming, slowly, but surely. The first door picture is our pantry door. It's so nice. The light in the pantry is going to wired to come on when the door opens. Isn't that cool? The second door picture is in the bonus room. We are going to stain all the doors dark later on. That is on our to do list: pick out the stain color. The cabinet guy didn't show up this week, hopefully next week. We are hoping to start trimming next week too. Chris and I are about to get a lot more experience with staining than I think we realize. Oh yeah, dad and Papa Mel are going to work on the siding on the front gables this weekend. The siding on the dormer looks so good. They did an amazing job. The garage door is supposed to come Monday. We are back into turbo mode again. We both just continue to learn so much through all this, and dad is being so patient with us. He even let us hang one of the pocket doors by ourselves last night. That was fun!!! We didn't even fight.
