Pics of the house

Finally, some pictures. I was looking through all my pictures on the computer a couple of days ago and realized I didn't have one of the outside in a while. (Everything has been going on inside lately.) So, I took one. That pic was taken on Thursday. You can see our brick. The brick layers are coming hopefully the middle of this week. That will be so exciting. There is also a picture of our front door, which I love. :) Sorry it's open, all the tapers and bedders were inside and they opened it for a breeze. This pic was also taken on Thursday...sorry for the mess in front of the door. Then, the one of MY...I mean our, bathtub. I'm so ready to get to use it. This pic was taken a couple of weeks ago before all the sheetrock was done. Now it is covered with cardboard so they don't mess it up. That is one thing I have learned throughout this process...the workers do not care about your house. All they care about is getting their job done and getting on to the next job. They throw trash everywhere...eat on you sheetrock that is going to be hung in your dining room...I'm a little bitter about that one. Anyways, the house is still going well. My dad has been out of town this week so we haven't been out there much. We aren't complaining though, we needed a break.

So, this week we will hopefully have texture on the walls and brick on the outside. I will take pics for everyone. Chris is leaving me on Tuesday to go to the Grand Canyon with the men on my dad's side of the family. They are riding a mule down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, staying the night in a cabin and riding back up the next day. I'm very jealous. They are going to have a blast.
